Crystal Palace FC has been a part of the Premier League since 1861, and the club is about to begin its tenth season. Their new home kit from Macron sports a brushstroke-effect graphic on the club crest, and pinstripes that extend to the sleeve cuffs.
The club has been linked with Macron for some time, but they have now confirmed a new kit maker. Macron is one of Europe’s fastest-growing sportswear manufacturers. They have agreed to provide the Eagles with new playing kits, starting in the 22-23 season. The company will also supply the club with the logo of their new main sponsor, Cinch.
Crystal Palace have changed their home kit several times over the years. The earliest version featured the claret and blue colours, but later the club adopted a red-and-blue design. In the late 1960s, the team wore white shirts with claret/blue stripes. This kit remained in use until the end of the 1964 season, when the club changed its crest to reflect the famous Crystal Palace facade.
The Crystal Palace Company was financially dependent on tourist activity for income, so they decided to create a new professional football club. This was done in order to tap into the vast crowd potential of the area.
