If you’re an international student who’d like to pursue a career in medicine, here are the top 10 countries to consider. These countries offer good medical care for low tuition fees and good opportunities for travel and employment after graduation. In addition, you can learn English as a second language at many of the international medical schools. You may want to consider studying medicine in Taipei, Kaohsiung, or Tainan, as these cities have good medical schools.

Australia has several excellent medical schools and programs. The country’s growing popularity among medical students is evident in the number of international enrollees. The University of Melbourne, University of Sydney, and Monash University have all ranked in QS’s top universities. International students are also eligible to study medicine in Australia because of its public health care system. To study in Australia, you’ll need to pass a recognised high school examination, and IELTS (or equivalent) score of 7.0 or higher. Alternatively, you can complete an accelerated program in one to two years.

In addition to its low tuition costs, India is also one of the most affordable countries to study medicine. Tuition costs are considerably cheaper, and the currency in the country is stronger, meaning your money will last a longer time. In terms of quality of medical education, the United States is among the top countries. Its medical institutions rank high, including Harvard, Yale, and Stanford. In addition to top medical schools, Germany also offers low tuition fees. Those interested in studying medicine in Germany must pass a medical research examination, and German language skills are an asset.
